Hide followers on public facing site for Bitbucket

Is there a way to hide the number of followers from the public facing site for an account? If not, is it on the roadmap or is there a work around now?

The Bitbucket site is intended to be a collaborative code hosting site. Showing who follows who is part of that. There aren't any present plans on the roadmap to make that part of a user profile private. We do have an issue open for it and this may change with enough interest. It can be found here.
