Having problems cloning - can't use my account

Edited

I created a new account with my email address, keith@hjkl.llc.  I created a new repo.  When I go to clone the repo, it gives me the command:

git clone https://hjklllc-admin@bitbucket.org/hjklllc-admin/iiq83.git

and is asking me for the password for hjklllc-admin account.  I didn't create that account and I don't see any way to SET the password for it.  It won't allow me to use my email to authenticate to the repo.  I also tried creating a PAT and that also failed.

Will I have to use SSH?

When I try to login into that account@bitbucket.org it tries to log into google.

I set up an SSH key but that does not allow pushes!

Hey @Keith Smith

Welcome to the community.

To authenticate with git through HTTPS, you'll need to generate an App Password to replace your account password.

You can check our documentation below on how to generate an App Password:

Thank you this worked.  I am not sure how to "accept" the answer

Hey @Keith Smith

You can click Accept answer above my previous reply.
There should be a green box button on it.

That said, glad to hear it works!

Cheers,
Syahrul
