Dear Bitbucket community,
Since the past week - around 7th January I am observing strange behaviour when I want to invite a user to a group in a workspace. Inside "Workspace Settings > User groups > test.group > 10 invitations pending" I see the users who I recently invited via the API (still not part of BB workspace) and one user who was invited, accepted the invitation and he is already part of the workspace and the group, but I still see him on the pending list and it is not being refreshed.
Before, when a user was invited and his invitation was successfully accepted, the user disappeared from that list, but now it is like stuck there.
Thank you in advance!
Best Regards,
Elena
Hello @Elena Dzhordzhilova ,
thanks for reaching out to the Community!
We haven't been able to reproduce the issue you reported either by inviting the user directly in the UI, or using the invitations API.
This usually suggests a potential local browser cache/extensions issue that might be contributing to this.
To confirm if that is the case, could you please try accessing that page from your browser's incognito mode and check if the pending invitations are still there? The Incognito mode will not use the cache and will also disable any extensions in the browser that might be affecting the content loaded on the page.
If it's confirmed as a browser issue, we recommend clearing the cache as this should fix the issue outside Incognito mode as well.
Also, for users who have already accepted the invitation, you can manually cancel the pending request by selecting the "Cancel invitation" option on the User's group page and monitoring whether this happens again for any future invitation.
We hope this helps! Let us know in case you have any questions.
Thank you, @Elena Dzhordzhilova !
