Hi,

Is there a way to manually add commits to jira tickets?

I've reviewed the supporting documentation and the steps cannot be followed as we have our Bit Bucket account and repositories synced to jira via DVCS.

i.e. when I navigate to DVCS accounts in jira, I can see my account and list of synced repositories but when I select "Git" from the jira banner and vaigate to view all repositories, I can only see a message stating: "No repositories available in Repository Browser".

For additional context I am a jira admin using jira server.

Thanks,

Alexander

Hi Alexander -

I'm with BigBrassBand - the vendor supporting the Git Integration for Jira app.

It sounds like you have BitBucket connected to Jira with DVCS and separately - you have the Git Integration for Jira app installed - but likely no integrations connected. The Git Integration app and DVCS do not share data - so you will need to integrate the Git Integration for Jira app with Bitbucket to be able to view (and manually associate) commits and Jira issues.

Separately - are you on Jira Cloud or Jira Server? Currently only our Jira Cloud product has a full Bitbucket integration. For Jira Server - you can connect it to Bitbucket but you must configure each repository.

If you have additional questions - please reach out to us at support@bigbrassband.com and we can answer your questions in detail.

Cheers,

Adam
