Get "This workspace ID is not available" error when trying to change the workspace name

My workspace ID is "oneroster" and when I try to change the ID to "ionsport" I get this error:  

"This workspace ID is not available"

How do I resolve this so that I can change the name.  Not that the workspace is brand new and has no repos in it yet.  That will change quickly.  Thanks!
