I almost always face difficulty to review changes in file on pull request page. This is because actual size of code viewing section is almost 1/4 of the screen. And I have 13" laptop so is set 120% font size in browser. The only solution I currently have is to open each file in new tab and review separately.
There is an awesome button in Jira: "Hide the header ( Z )". It makes things easier on my 13" laptop. I think in bitbucket there is a need to extend this idea even further and create fullscreen mode that will hide all unnecessary things during code review.
Things I would like to be changed:
- Header could not be hidden
- Section with PR title and reviewers list takes too much space.
- Only available mode to view files is one at a time. Would be great to see them as a list of collapsible sections.
Hello @vvlnv ,
and welcome to the Community!
We really appreciate your feedback, and we do have a feature request opened with our engineering team to make the Bitbucket page more responsible and improve usability on small screens:
I would recommend adding a comment in there with your suggestions and the things you're facing difficulties achieving with the current UI, so our product managers can better understand your use case and the demand for this feature.
You also have the option to add yourself as a watcher to that feature request, so you'll get notified of any future updates.
Thank you, @vvlnv !

Doesn't matter which screen size I have. The matter is how you(atlassian) use it! I have a big screen, but the height of review frame with code takes estimately 2/3 of available space. It's annoing and I need to scroll up and down the code too often. In case of @vvlnv small screen I'm sure it looks worse, looks like if I make code review looking into door key hole! Please make full height code review frame!
Hm.. I see that you spent alreay 10 years to take decisions on https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BCLOUD-5795
this is sad.
