Failed to connect to bitbucket.org port 443: Network is unreachable

I have been getting the error every time i try connecting to bitbucket on command prompt:

Interestingly it loading well on browser. 

Kindly assist

Hi Chacha, welcome to the Community!

Are you using the same network when you try to connect to Bitbucket through the browser and through the command line? 

Have you tried some other operations in the command line, like push or pull, for example?

I'd actually suggest you remove that IP from your hosts file before going to that site/master issue. Bitbucket has not used that address in months.

@jredmond that worked. I also noticed my squid was on.
