Exclude files not working in pull request

Hi

 I entered the list of files in exclude files, but I still see those files in the pull request

can you help me ?

Hi @Abbas and welcome to the community!

Do these files show in the pull request diff, or only in the file tree? Excluded files will not show up in the diff, but they are still listed in the file tree.

If you see these files in the diff:

  • Have you specified the exact file names, or are you using any wildcards?
  • Do the file names contain any special characters?

You can find in the following link more details about the excluded files pattern format (filename, directory name, wildcards):

I would suggest taking a look there first to see if there is perhaps a mistake with the format.

If you still cannot figure it out, since your workspace is on a paid billing plan, you can create a ticket with the support team. You can create a ticket via https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/, in "What can we help you with?" select "Technical issues and bugs" and then Bitbucket Cloud as product. If there is a support ticket open, the engineer working on your case will be able to check the patterns and your PR to assist you further.
