Hello @Luis Castro ,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community.

The error being printed in the runner's logs indicates the runner is trying to call bitbucket API to update its status, but it's not being able to reach Bitbucket and is timing out. This usually happens when your machine is behind a firewall and it's blocking the runner to connect to Bitbucket.

In this case, I would suggest making sure all the IPs listed in What are the bitbucket cloud ip addresses I should use to configure my corporate firewall? are allowed listed in your firewall. If possible you can also try to execute the runner on a different machine or in a different network to check if the same error occurs.

Lastly, if you are not in the latest windows runner version, you can try downloading and test with the more recent version, which is 1.341 by the time I write this message:

Invoke-WebRequest -Uri https://product-downloads.atlassian.com/software/bitbucket/pipelines/atlassian-bitbucket-pipelines-runner-1.341.zip -OutFile .\atlassian-bitbucket-pipelines-runner.zip

# unzip the file

Expand-Archive .\atlassian-bitbucket-pipelines-runner.zip

# launch the runner

cd .\atlassian-bitbucket-pipelines-runner\bin

.\start.ps1 <parameter given during runner creation>

Hope that helps! Let me know in case you have any questions.

Thank you, @Luis Castro .

Kind regards,

Patrik S

Hi Patrick,

It solved the problem by whitelistening the IPs - thank you!

Best regards,

Luis Castro
