Hi,

It looks like the Bitbucket Server instance is short on memory, so I'd be looking in that direction.

Christian thank you so much for the suggestion and yes expanding the server memory has allowed us to now clone without the error. 

Now our concern is how to keep the repos down to an acceptable size as the historical files are going quickly and some are now over 2GB. Is there a cleanup process that would help us keep the size from growing so quickly?
