Hi,

I am trying to figure out a way to achieve this: I would like to execute a step only if there have been changes in a particular folder of my repo, BUT the way I want to specify this path is via an environment variable defined for the repo.

In my mind it would be something like this:

- step:

    name: 'my step'

    script:

       - echo $ENV_VAR

    condition:

       changesets:

          includePaths:

              - 'myfolder/${ENV_VAR}/*'

    artifacts:

      - '**'

Is this possible at all? Is there any alternative, workaround to achieve something similar?

Thank you very much in advance.

Hi Enrico and welcome to the community.

I'm afraid that this is not possible, you will need to specify the path in includePaths without the use of a variable.

We have a feature request for allowing variable names in that path:

The request has been closed due to inactivity, but I would recommend leaving a comment with your feedback in that ticket, as our product managers continue to monitor even closed requests.

Kind regards,
Theodora
