Does Bitbucket use the failover Active Directory when the primary fails on git operations?

We recently had failures on git push/pull operations which was tracked down to a failure to contact our internal active directory server for authentication.

I have a failover configured in the web gui:

I am just wondering if this failover server gets used by Bitbucket on git pull/push operations when the primary one fails. I see no reference to the second server in the logs.
