Docker-based runner on Kubernetes can't find kubernetes.default nslookup

When I try to do:

nslookup kubernetes.default

I get:

** server can't find kubernetes.default: NXDOMAIN

So from inside the bitbucket-runner pod I can't find any kubernetes dns.

 

If I do the same test with dnsutils pod it works fine.

@Jorn Van Coillie can you please share you runner pod yaml? Definitely networking messed up.

Thanks for the reply. After I updated the runner to latest version. I can access pods by dns name. Problem solved.
