Deleted forks origin repo, how to recreate links between origin and forks?

Edited

If a "master" origin repository, which has many forks, is deleted, the Bitbuclet "links" between the origin and the forks seems to be deleted too.

Then, if the origin repo is recreated with the same name and git history, is there a way in Bitbucket to re-link all the forks to this new identifcal repository so we could merge again within Bitbucket?

Using the API?
Or will the forks simply need to be recreated also?

Thanks

Hello @Jacques-Yves Bleau  ,

Thanks for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

I went ahead and created an internal support ticket using the email of your community account so we can look into this issue. You should be receiving an e-mail soon with the ticket link, but in case you don't receive it, please let me know so I can share the ticket link here.

Thank you, @Jacques-Yves Bleau .

Thanks @Patrik S !

I've received the link.

For those looking for a solution, there is a suggestion ticket to implement this feature within the Bitbucket API:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BCLOUD-22569

You should vote for it if this feature would be useful for you.
