Creating a bot api token (Jenkins X)

Hi,

I'm trying to generate a token with permissions to control BitBucket repos from Jenkins X. 

Jenkins X is expecting a token with minimum of 40 characters (available in other SCMs) but the tokens with permissions generated in BB are shorter and hence are not supported, at least not in JX.

Any idea? any workaround suggested?

I'm not familiar with Jenkins, so some blind guesses here.

What kind of token do you mean? Is that OAuth token maybe? Here's a guide on how to create one.

Also, I found this section in Jenkins X guide which suggests to use a special command passing it Bitbucket username as an argument.
