How do I create an app password for a user for a particular repo on my account?
I have several repos, with with different users and need to set them up with the app passwords to push their updates to the repos via GIT bash.
I am the only administrator on the account.
Hello @Videstra
Currently, Bitbucket user management can either be done via groups for workspace or via direct access to a repository. You may create a group in the workspace, add members, add repositories, and set permissions. You may check more about it in User management for a workspace
You can also add members for direct access to the repository. You may check more about it in User management within a repository
App passwords are meant to substitute your real account password and are designed to be used for a specific purpose and limited permissions. They can be easily created and revoked when needed. You can reference this documentation for more information.
I hope this helps.
Kind regards,
Karthick S
