`Couldn't load activity` and failure submit review

we have multiple pull-requests in  the repo

what can cause a persisting `Couldn't load activity` for just a specific pull-request

also when trying to submit a review for that PR, i get a the message "submitted successfully", but  all the comments remains pending.

any help will be welcomed

As you mentioned just a specific pull request is not loading, it might be the case that a particular pull request is exceeding the Bitbucket Cloud Limits for viewing content and diffs.

If a huge amount of changes were introduced in a single pull request that causes it to exceed the above mentioned limits, Bitbucket will not be able to render the diff in the UI, and you'd have to check the diff locally.

We suggest keeping the pull request concise for easy review while ensuring it provides enough context about the changes.

Also, one other possibility is that your browser extensions or cache might be playing a role in this issue and affecting the page load. In this case, you can try opening the same pull request in your browser's Incognito mode and check if it then works.
