Could not add new user to repo

I've been trying since yesterday to add a new user to my repository and it did not go through. The error is "Issue adding new user" "The following user could not be added by email: ...". Try again.

I also tried using my alternative email address (both Gmail and non-Gmail), and it didn't work.

Can someone help or how can I get help?

Hi everyone,

There is currently a bug that prevents sending invitations to someone who does not have a Bitbucket Cloud account yet:

The workaround is to:

1. Ask the user to create a new Bitbucket Cloud account

2. After the user creates a Bitbucket Cloud account, invite the user
