Cannot log in error: "We couldn’t log you in"

I've received an email  with an invitation link to a bitbucket repository. Sadly I have problems logging in. I've tried both Google-Chrome and Firefox yesterday and today. No Success.

My account is quite old and I was inactive for more than 5 years. Maybe it just needs some kind of reactivation?

Please help me.

Have you tried recovering your Atlassian account?  https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-account/docs/log-in-to-your-atlassian-account/ 

Are you able to login to just your Atlassian account?  Does your Atlassian account email match the email on the invite?
