Cannot access files to download for app private repo

Tyson Dogerz
January 11, 2018

Not sure why but I cannot seem to access private repo’s for updates in a simple application with python.

Run:

curl -u "Tysondogerz:NbvaUhnnA9WkVtS9DssP" https://api.bitbucket.org/2.0/repositories/Tysondogerz/SSH/downloads

 My repo exists.

For access:

client = Client(ClientConfig(), auth=('Tysondogerz', 'NbvaUhnnA9WkVtS9DssP'))

 This is my username and password for app.

The following script works great for public repo’s, but does not seem to work with bitbucket private repo’s :/

I've included my python updating script which does not seem to work in a pastebin here because it does not format here correctly.

Worth a mention this is how client downloads not sure if relevant.

Hi Tyson, I found this Community thread that seems to be asking for the same thing as you. Have you tried that?

I've also found this post where users share different approaches, do any of them work for you?

Regards!

Ana
