We wanted to know if we can get feedback on the code of our branch without opening a pull request? We are opening pull requests for the work in progress and its cluttering the actual pull requests.
Hello @Rachna Vyas ,
Another way of getting feedback is on the commits. Similarly to a pull request, you can leave comments on a commit view. Keep in mind though that, unlike PRs, only the commit author will be notified about such comments by default, and you'd need to use @-mentions to involve other people in the conversation. Another difference is that if the commit is removed as a result of rebase or force push, relevant comments will be practically lost, whereas in a PR comments remain as "outdated comments" in such cases.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
Cheers,
Daniil
