I'm guessing this is new in the new update (2.5.3), but when creating a new branch, I can't use capital letters anymore.
It's kind of the company's unofficial guideline to use capital letters for a part of the branch. They're named after their respective Jira tickets and those get capital letters.
I could rename the branch again, but that requires me to change it twice. First to something with different letters and then back again but then with capital letters (else I'll get a "branch already exists" error).
The release notes say the following about "branch creation".
"Branch creation previews the name, auto-replaces spaces with dashes"
It seems it's not a consious choice, but might be something that's overlooked in the update?
