Can I permanently hide "Take the next steps" message on my repos?

My repos have uncountable commits, multiple contributors, and are very active. How can I permanently hide the 

Take the next steps for this repository and its freshly added files

message whenever I use the web front end?? It takes up real estate and no matter how many times I click that X it always come back. If it has a few commits, no readme, or something else sure but honestly these repos are active WHY AM I STILL SEEING THIS MESSAGE?

Could you please let us know, after you close this message in a specific repository, do you see it again in the same repository? Or does it stop showing for the same repo, but it shows in a different repo?

It is a bit unclear whether you are seeing the message repeatedly in the same repo after you close it, or if it is reappearing in different/new repos.

I am in discussion with one of the developers on this, but we need first to understand what is the case.
