Can I change Chat Notification settings in bitbucket via the API?

We are a bitbucket cloud customer using the bitbucket slack integration. 

I would like to program-atically create bitbucket repos and subscribe them to the proper channels in our Slack workspace.  

Is it possible to manipulate the Chat Notification settings in bitbucket using the bitbucket API?
