Hey all. Im all new to CI/CD especially with RoR. I've done a simple one with `git-ftp` for a nodejs project.
I need to be able to make changes to my app whenever I merge a specific branch, ie staging. I struggle to file a tutorial that shows me how to use a pipeline to deploy file to my remote server THEN restart the server once files deployed. All I see is "use capistrano instead". Is there a better way to upload files using pipeline instead of git-ftp?
Could someone please share this knowledge? Thanks
This answer might help, it also has some tips on leveraging the Deployments feature in Bitbucket Pipelines.
Hope this helps,
Davina
