I think the httpd version on the server is behind. We are using bitbucket in class, and the w3c validator process comes back with

I was able to successfully load the link you shared using Chrome version 113.0.5672.92, so I suspect this might be a local browser issue.

Could you try updating your browser to the latest version or trying to use a different browser and check if the issue persists (Bitbucket supported browsers)? Also, does the same error happens when you open the page using the browser's incognito mode?

Thank you for the clarification!

From the HTTP status code returned (HTTP 426), the server ( is refusing the connection because the client ( validator) is using an old/unsupported protocol.

In this case, I would suggest reporting this to, as they have a Report issue link available on the website. They will have more logs and details on what protocol upgrade is necessary on their side to allow the connection with
