I understand that you assign "people" as default reviewer to a project/repo, that is generally fine. However, in an organization where you synchronize your users with a directory service e.g. ldap, it would really be helpful/useful if you could also assign user groups as reviewers.
We have several projects which the same team is responsible and thus default reviewer. Any changes in the team required updates to each project. Yes it's doable but as the ldap user groups anyway reflect the current status of the team, the reviewers list would be automatically up-to-date.
Is there any plan to support this or are there reasons why not to do?

+1
We have lots of repos and want to manage reviewers in groups, not individuals.
