Bitbucket maxing out CPU and locking up server

Yesterday, our server hosting Bitbucket froze up; when we could finally get in, we found the Bitbucket service using the entire CPU. The server was practically unusable until the service was killed, at which point everything went back to normal. Is there a known fix for this issue to prevent it from happening again? No errors in the logs from the time it was noticed, and nothing I can see that lines up with the one KB article on this issue.

I do recommend to start from investigation of cause

As I see on your windows server located the SQL server and Bitbucket.

Could you double check situation with IOPS ?
