Bitbucket API for repository categories returning null

Gabrielle Aguilar June 16, 2019

My project consists of repositories that are categorized and I want to place a GET request so I can retrieve a list of these repositories as well as their categories.

In https://support.communardo.de/display/KB/REST+API+for+Categories+for+Bitbucket I tried using the /rest/categories/latest/project/OP/repository endpoint but it returns a "null for uri" message.

I tested the other endpoints on the page and they all work perfectly except this one( which is the one I need).

Please advise, thank you!

Hello @Gabrielle Aguilar ,

thank you for your question.

I'm sorry we didn't see it earlier.

Since we moved our documentation, please have a look at the new documentation at
https://communardo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/27687460/REST+API+for+Categories+for+Bitbucket

Unfortunately you have encountered an existing bug in our app. The bug will be fixed in one of the next releases.

As a workaround you can do the following things:

If you haven't done so already, we recommend adding yourself as a watcher for Categories for Bitbucket in the Atlassian Marketplace. This way you will be notified automatically when a new version is released.

To add yourself as a watcher, visit the app's page in the Atlassian Marketplace.
Click the link "Watch app" on the right under "Resources"

You can find the bug ticket over here:
https://jira.communardo.de/browse/SPC-175

If you have further questions or support requests you can also contact our support directly.

Kind regards,

Franz
