Bamboo 'Git credentials storage exception' on Windows

Mangesh Dhobale October 9, 2018

First of all I am new to Bamboo.

While linking repository the connection established successfully. But now after restarting Bamboo session I am no longer able to link repository and getting this "Git credentials storage exception".

I am using Username and Password and not SSH Key to authenticate user.

What could be the possible problem?

You might consider switching to SSH key authentication.

1. SSH key authentication is more secure.

2. Bitbucket seems to like it better since username/password auth seems to encounter rate limiting a bit more often.
