At bitbucket my repository size shows large as over 4.19 GB, I have deleted many of branches still show warning not to push, I have run gc, gc --aggressive, remove multiple branches still my repository size is not reduced
I found in our system one repo over the 4 GB limit from the ones you have access to. I ran a git gc on it, and its size is 550.5 MB now. Does this agree with the size of your local repo?
We have a feature request to allow users to run a git gc on the remote repos themselves:
You can add your vote in that feature request and add yourself as a watcher if you'd like to get notified via email on updates.
