Hi, We are looking to upgrade to Stash 3.0. We also have Fisheye/Crucible, Jira, and Bamboo used with Git. I want to use Smart commits like we used to use when on Bitbucket/hosted solution. Is this or will this be possible with the latest stash release and the other components we currently have? If so, how can we enable it?
Hi John,
you can use FishEye/Crucible to handle smart commits. You would need to add the Stash repositories to be indexed by Fisheye (see https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/FISHEYE/Adding+an+external+repository), enable smart commits (https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/FISHEYE/Enabling+Smart+Commits) and then you should be able to use it, both for review creation and for transitioning JIRA issues (see https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/FISHEYE/Using+smart+commits)
Hi John,
is what you search for.
Cheers,
Benni

As I remember, no (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/STASH-2490). You could try this (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.hindsighttesting.story-flow-plugin).

Thanks for the Reply. STASH-2490 link you provide says "Smart commits...as they are in Fisheye". Maybe I am missing something. Since we have fisheye, does that mean we should have smart commits to Jira, but maybe just not through Stash?
For example if my comment has: "+review @bob#resolve" I want it to open a review in fisheye/crucible & move it across the greenhopper/agile board to the resolve field.
