Access to svn forbidden

Nancy Broderson September 29, 2013

Nothing has changed in our setup over the past week, and our developer was able to commit to svn on Wednesday 09/25. Today, attempting to commit, and receiving an error:

Unable to connect to a repository...

Access to ... forbidden.

I have confirmed that the default permissions as well as project permissions should all him to commit.

We want to do one last commit to svn before performing the cutover to bitbucket.

Any help or direction would be appreciated!

Hi Nancy,

Verify that your machine able to reach the svn by running the svn info command in your terminal. If you are unable to get the information about the repository, most proably your local firewall connection is blocking the outgoing connection to the SVN Repo.
