ssh keys getting rejected

chirvasitua July 6, 2021

Is Bitbucket down at the moment (2021-07-06, 6:06 PM EST)?

I am getting `permission denied` when issuing

ssh -T git@bitbucket.org

on all of my machines, with keys that are valid and worked fine earlier today.

Thank you for the quick reply!

This confirms it's not at my end then; I'm sure Atlassian will be on it soon.

The problem also seems intermittent for me - but fails most of the time:

$ git push
git@bitbucket.org: Permission denied (publickey).
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.

$ git pull
Already up to date.

$ git pull
git@bitbucket.org: Permission denied (publickey).
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.

$ git push
Connection closed by 104.192.141.1 port 22
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.
Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.

They've already started looking into it.

I'm sure it'll be sorted soon.
