http to https config

May i know , current we are using standalone bitbucket http://10.1.1.2:7990 , but we are want to upgrade it to https. i saw your web , and touch who to do it, but i have one question.

1, why https is need 8443 port ? can i keep use the 7990 port ?

8443 is a simple default, if you want to run on 7990, then make sure you replace all the 8443 with 7990 (and make sure nothing else is running on 7990)

The link you've given is the correct way to do it.  You'll need to look at what you have done differently or missed from that document to understand why it is not working.
