Unable to perform git clone on windows

I not able to clone repository from Bitbucket to local (Windows).

When I type the command, the directory gets created in local, but the prompt still stays in the terminal. It doesnt come out. So, unable to proceed further. When I cancel, the directory gets cleared away.

Hi Jobin, 

Yes.  I am at present do not have the screen shot. Will attach soon. 

I have a query.  I am using a virtual desktop.  Is there any configuration to be set in, as everytime I log in to my virtual desktop, the git installation is lost. Pls help.
