If I try to clone my bitbucket repo on windows, it gives the error.

Cloning into 'XXXXX'...Please enter your Bitbucket credentials for https://bitbucket.org/username: XXXXXXpassword: remote: Invalid username or password. If your organization manages your account or you've enabled two-step verification, create an app password to log in: https://confluence.atlassian.com/x/9DJmMQfatal: Authentication failed for 'h

The same username/password works when I try from Mac. The root cause was that for some reason, passwords with a '#' in it doesn't work on Windows git. I had to change the password to something without '#' to get this working.
