How do I trigger a pull request merge after a successful build?

A question from a newbie :)

I have searched for this but not found any clear way of doing it...

Before an approved pull request is merged, I would like to build the software (in jenkins) and perform the merge if/when the build is successful. I guess this means Bitbucket need a "middle-step" after the pull request being approved and before receiving build status from the build system (jenkins).

I guess that I should use pre-receive hook in some way, but I haven't found any appropriate plugin for that.

I know that this is fully accomplishable in gerrit, but I want to use Bitbucket.

Anyone having any clue?
