Docker image with configuration

Hi.

We are trying to create a setup of Bitbucket Server using Docker.

Some setup properties can be set by injecting the bitbucket.properties on startup, and dropping plugins in shared/plugins/ folder. But, other settings we don't see a way out of provisioning, such as:

* User directories (authentication).

* Mail server

* Generally configuring everything (plugins, etc)

Is there any work on this? Our goal is self-contained Docker images that can be spun up with a system in a usable state.

(Currently we have a "2-step" setup using a Docker image and then the REST API for post-spin-up configuration)

Anyone trying to do something similar? Or, have alternative approaches?

Best regards,

What sort of post-spin-up configuration are you doing? Are these configurations to the Docker containers after they are started?

Yes, they are after they are started (which is what we want to avoid)
