Hi All,

We are engaging with an enterprise customer who questioned the true HA capabilities of Data center and their point was, how does Atlassian Data center provide HA incase of its DB failure since its architecture suggests only single shared DB. Has any one addressed these kind of questions, if so what was the best approach taken to defend or solution suggested.

We suggested a global load balancer and failover approach to standby, but they do not call it a true HA.

Hi Manohar,

High availability for the database layer is the responsibility of the customer - you can use whatever clustering methods your DBMS provides to increase availability of the database.

Cheers,

Hi @Christian Glockner is there any specific KB that you could share with regards to setting up DC with MS SQL server in a cluster mode.
