Bitbucket-Jira integration

Kliment October 15, 2018

I'm trying to link BitBucket to an Jira account by following the steps in this article:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucket/connect-bitbucket-cloud-to-jira-cloud-applications-814190686.html?_ga=2.25701301.960405652.1511298162-412681138.1511298162

And I failed at it of course.

I cannot even install Jira app into my Bitbucket accout beceuse of the following:
"

Error

The add-on failed to be installed: Error calling installed at URL https://intell-tech.atlassian.net/rest/aci/1.0/installation/jira-bitbucket-connector-plugin/install: 403 Client Error: for url: https://intell-tech.atlassian.net/rest/aci/1.0/installation/jira-bitbucket-connector-plugin/install

"

As I understand the reason - The Jira DVCS Connector app has been retired and incorporated into the standalone Jira Software application.
But if so, why I din't see any 'connectors' in my Jira cloud?
Is it possible to make the connection with a few clicks as it was described in the article above or thou shall enter the kingdom of OAUTH2 and suffering, like it described here
https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver072/linking-a-bitbucket-or-github-repository-with-jira-828787604.html?

BTW, are these instructions good for Jira cloud?
