Bamboo build plan is triggering for "all" the branches when a branch is merged to develop (default)

When I merge a Bitbucket branch to develop, build plan for all the branches (that are previously created/merged to develop) is being triggered in Bamboo.

Hello @Muhammad Zubair

Did find a solution to this problem? I have a similar issue where my default branch is master and the Build plan was migrated to the Bamboo Specs. This issue started occurring after the migration.

Any pointers around this issue would be helpful. Thanks!

Hi @Rachana B,

In my case, all previously created branches were triggering builds on every default-branch-merge after migration to bamboo specs (plan branches created after the migration were fine). I didn't find a solid solution to this problem. I performed the following steps to get rid of the issue:

  1. I disabled old plan branches manually.
  2. Changed the inactive plan-branch deletion to 15 days. See Handling inactive branchesHandling deleted branches.
  3. Committed bamboo-specs directory to all the branches which were created before the migration.
