RSA key fingerprint confirmation

Message

The authenticity of host 'bitbucket.org (18.205.93.2)' can't be established.
RSA key fingerprint is SHA256:zzXQOXSRBEiUtuE8AikJYKwbHaxvSc0ojez9YXaGp1A.
Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)?

What does it mean?

This is a normal message when you are trying to access the specified host for the first time or for any reason the host you are trying to connect with has changed their key.

For example, imagine that two people are meeting for the first time, exchanging their business card and you verified their name with their identity card before engaging on business.

In fact, SSH client is asking permission to proceed with the connection between your machine and the host.

What happens next?

Once the connection is established your ssh client will store the host information in the ~/.ssh/known_hosts and it will not warn you anymore as long this RSA key fingerprint remains the same.

How does one verify that the fingerprint is correct? Where is the fingerprint found on Bitbucket?
