Hey Community! We’re willing to wager that quite a few of you not only use Bitbucket, but administer it too. Our team is excited to share that we’ll be releasing improvements throughout this month of June to make managing repository access simpler (and making your life easier in the process!). Here’s a quick summary of the changes you’ll see next time you’re in your workspace settings.
You can now see all the users in your workspace - and with search, you can quickly find the user you’re looking for. You can also filter this directory by who has access to a specific repository.
And when you click “View Access”, we’ll now pop up a modal which shows the groups that the user is part of, as well as the repositories that the user has direct access to.
You’ll now be able to more easily find the group you’re looking for, including filtering by search term. Sort user groups by name, number of group members, and number of repositories the group has access to.
You can now filter your users and groups by what permission level they have for a given repository. Have a lot of users? You can now change and remove permissions for users and groups in bulk using the checkboxes.
Thanks again for letting Bitbucket Cloud power your team. Let us know if you have any feedback below on these new changes!
Cheers,
Shana
