how to define service definition when deploying to ECS

Looking at pipes for AWS ECS it looks that there is no way to update service definition. it only seems to do taskdefinition. What other option can we use to update service difinition.

Current version of the aws-ecs-deploy pipe supports update service with a task_definition or force_new_deployment options.
