i am having a bamboo server which ran out of a license. Unfortunately its not starting up to enter the new license. Log_in_as_a_Bamboo_user_-_G_llner_IT_Bamboo.png
Is there a hidden url to update the license or can i do that in the database or on the command line? I would like not to loose the project config.
Here is a part of the logfile.

Hello Philip,
Please stop your Bamboo process completely, make sure there is no orphaned/frozen process running in the background, then open "bamboo.cfg.xml" file from under your <bamboo-home> directory and replace the following property value with your new license:
<property name="license.string">ABCD</property>
Upon starting Bamboo again, you should be able to successfully login and access the application. If the issue persists, please open a support ticket at https://support.atlassian.com.
Hope this helps!
Thank you.
Best,
Sepideh
Thanks @Sepideh Setayeshfar worked perfectly. Is that a bug that i don't get a nicely styled interface when license runs out? Should i add that to bamboos bugtracker?

I'm getting this same issue! site redirects to /setup/updateLicense!default.action and then I'm getting a 404 error..

Hi Phillip,
Have you tried what it says here https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMBOO/Updating+your+Bamboo+license+details

Expiring license shouldn't block you out. Maybe try this?
