how to kill hung bamboo builds

Hello,

Is there a way to kill hung bamboo builds ? how to i find the process on unix of that running build.

Stopping, disabling plans , stopping bamboo agent did not work

Any other way to kill apart from restarting bamboo server

Thanks

Run:

ps aux

find pid (second column)

kill pid

If that does not kill the process:

kill -9 pid

Check-out this plugin too for future occurrences:

In addition to this, if you can't find any external processes belonging to the build; it suggests there could have been a transactional issue that stopped the build state being correctly updated in the Bamboo DB. If this happened, you'll need to restart Bamboo as there's a start-up job that will mark anything in-progress on start-up as not built.
