YAML and JSON Variables Loader problem

has anyone used this plugin: YAML and JSON variables loader? I was asked tot check it, couple thing:

1. field: Path to YAML or JSON file, does not take bamboo variables, have enter hard code path. this is not bamboo standard behavior?

2. a suggestion: the plugin does produce the bamboo variables, but it would be nice if have option to add a namespace for easy search in the mist of bamboo variables i.e bamboo_version vs bamboo_myownname_version...
