We are upgrading our Bamboo service from v3.2 to version 4.3. When the service comes up for the first time, will the agents that were installed using the v3.2 jar file still be able to communicate and work with the new version? Will the agents see that the version on the Bamboo server changed and update themselves accordingly or are there manually steps we need to take to update the agents? If we do need to update the agents manually, what are the steps for doing that? Keep in mind that we are running the bamboo agent code as a service on each remote host.

Yes, the agent will automatically update itself to match the server version and the plugins installed on the server, provided that it has write access to agent home directory.
