I am running bamboo elastic solution and this is my log when doing a code checkout from my Git bitbucket account:

not sure why its running "git version" for ?
if I do a git clone via a script it works fine and its downloaded

Firstly thanks for taking the time to respond.
Yes its windows, as for cygwin ... all the AWS elastic images provided by Atlassian has cygwin git installed so I assume it would work. The only versions that dont are old images running on 2008 servers but considering this is using their default image and their default run job then I am guessing that would work.

I am assuming that's Windows, I am not familiar with the elastic thing. Are you sure the cygwin git works in bamboo? I have been always using Git for Windows.
